1. These pictures were scanned from the printed book and carefully retouched to remove scratches etc. from the 7th edtion, printed in 1906 under Mrs. Eddy's direction and approval. I have seen the original art that is archived at The Mary Baker Library in Boston and have attempted to reproduce the color variations as they exist today. Plate #1, STAR OF BETHLEHEM, as shown in this book was not available.
